American Shorthair


The American Shorthair cat is a hearty, robust cat that is the the descendant of cats taken to North America from Europe in the 16th century. (One could call them "Mayflower Cats"!) These sturdy cats were highly valued for their skill at keeping vermin populations down and flourished throughout North America despite extreme temperatures and other arduous conditions. American Shorthair cats come in a wide variety of colors and patterns, the most common being silver tabby with vivid black markings. The breed has an amiable, easy-going personality and adjusts well to both children and dogs. American Shorthair cats love plenty of exercise and outdoor activity and make excellent mousers, as well as loving pets.

Australian Mist



This wonderful cat is "true blue" and because it is home grown, it proudly wears the "made in Australia" label.
BACKGROUND
This charming Aussie originated from a Burmese background with Abyssinian and domestic shorthair breeds, and from this combination has come the confidence of cats that we enjoy today.
CHARACTERISTICS
This little Aussie go-getter is blessed with personality plus and has a great sense of fun that is very contagious. Because of this, the Australian Mist thrives on human companionship and it is also very tolerant of even the youngest of children.
CARE REQUIREMENTS
Its hallmark spotted jacket comes in a variety of colours from brown to blue, chocolate to lilac and gold to peach – with the misty background colours highlighting its delicate, but distinctive spots. Its coat is easy to care for, and a good brushing once a week will keep it looking good as well as providing it with a healthy “massage”.
AVERAGE LIFESPAN
Australian Mists will usually live up to 13 years of age, but with the proper care and nutrition can live up to 15 years of age.
AVERAGE SIZE AND WEIGHT
These cats are of medium height with the females usually weighing 3.5kg and the males weighing 6kg.
IDEAL OWNERS
These friendly cats enjoy playing games and being part of the hustle and bustle of the home, further cementing their reliability as a warm and friendly pet for all ages. Ideal owners need to have the time to join in and provide these games and activities.

American Curl Cat


The American Curl is a breed of cat that wraps itself around your heart. If they could curl up inside you and stay there they would. Such a loving breed of cat. They come from domestic street cats and the breed was discovered in 1981 in California. They have come a long way and have been modified from large to semi foreign type. They come in all colors. They get their name because of their ears. They curl back toward the base of the skull. The curl can vary from first degree to 3rd degree which is the preferred. They are a very elegant breed and are very curious and their ears make them look even more impish

American Bobtail Cat


The American Bobtail is a medium to large sized cat. It has the distinctive look of a natural hunter with it's naturally bobbed tail and muscular appearance. Extremely affectionate and good natured, the American Bobtail cat is almost dog-like in it's easygoing ways and adaptability. The plush coat comes in a wide variety of colors and patterns, and can vary from short to medium long. American Bobtails are slow to mature, retaining a kittenish appearance and joie de vivre for at least the first three years of life. Healthy and robust, these great big bundles of feline love make wonderful pets for families and singles alike. Grooming needs in the American Bobtail cat are minimal - a weekly brushing and regular nail trimming are all that are required to keep kitty happy and healthy. That, and - of course - lots of daily hugs and kisses!
